Why contribute

CivicOS is available on iOS and Android for verified discussion and one-person-one-vote polling. Supported identity checks happen on the participant’s phone. A person’s identity is not attached to their published vote record, and mobile proofs prevent the same accepted credential from voting twice in a poll.
Participants receive receipts they can use to check that their votes appear in the published audit evidence. Contributors help protect these guarantees, reduce trust dependencies, and make civic participation understandable and usable by more people.
